Obituary for Mr. James C Brooks II Mr. James Brooks, II Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. James Brooks, II, 67, who entered eternal rest, Friday, July 13, 2018 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park.

Rev. Brian Keith Alfred will officiate at the services. Mr. Brooks is survived by his son, James Brooks, III of Los Angeles, CA; three brothers, John Andrus, Sr. (Sheryl) of Opelousas, LA, Anthony Shell of Los Angeles, CA and Russell LeDay of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Brenda Andrus of Texas City, TX; two grandchildren, Jamari and Joshua Brooks both of Los Angeles, CA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his parents, James Brooks, Sr. and Bernice Andrus and a brother, Rev. Graylin Andrus. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Mt.
