Big Stone Gap, Virginia James Clinton Carroll, 92, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at his home in Big Stone Gap, VA. He was a United States Army veteran. He is preceded in death by his wives, Mildred Dorthula Carroll and Edith Carroll; parents, Ike Tom and Cora Ethel Carroll; children, James Michael Carroll and Gary Martin Carroll.

He is survived by his children, Mildred A. Carroll, Robert Morris Carroll, Cora Sue Leonard, Donna Jean Carroll, Marvin Scott Carroll, Sharon Denise Manges, Melvin Gregory Carroll, Clinton Mark Carroll; brothers, Charles Don Carroll, Carl Melvin Carroll; sister, Eunice Bishop; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. The Carroll family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Roy A. Green Funeral Home, Appalachia, VA. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.

Roy Smith officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:30 to go in procession to the cemetery.
