He was born January 30, 1953 in Andalusia to Coleman Cason and Ruanell Neese Cason. David worked for over 40 years in the roofing industry.

He enjoyed shooting pool and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by father, Coleman Cason; mother, Ruanell Neese Cason; brothers, Jimmy Ray and Leon Cason; sister, Shelia Anderson. He is survived by brother, Rett Cason and sister, Silvia Fink.

He is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral services for James David Cason will be 1PM Wednesday January 9, 2019 from Evans funeral Home with Kelly and Janice Carnley officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.

Interment will be Zion Rock Cemetery.
