James Foster “Jake” Williams, 73, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born January 11, 1945 in Beaver Dam to the late Ricky Williams and Edwina Chinn. Mr. Williams worked in construction and was a member of Barnes Chapel United Methodist Church in Beaver Dam.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Williams. He leaves behind his to cherish his memory two sons, Garnett (Sherry) Williams of Morgantown and Rodney Williams of Beaver Dam; ten grandchildren, Derrick (Sarah) Williams, Elisha Williams, Michael Williams, Christopher Williams, Chantel Garner, Winston Williams, Joseph Williams, Austin Valentine, Preston Williams, and McKinzie Williams; eight great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Barnes Chapel United Methodist Church in Beaver Dam with Rev.

Cody Russ officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Mr. Williams’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of service at Barnes Chapel United Methodist Church.
