OBITUARY James I. Main April 17, 1928 – September 11, 2018 James “Jack” Main, 90, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at West River Health Campus. He was born April 17, 1928 in Evansville to the late Verna and Ruth (Dilley) Main. He retired as a draftsman from Whirlpool in 1990, after 38 years of employment.

He was an active member of Zoar United Church of Christ, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity for many years and participated in many mission trips with Back Bay Missions. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Main, and brother, William Main. He is survived by brother, Curtis Main; brothers-in-law, John Reine (Katie) and Richard Reine (Fay), and nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, September 14, 2018 at Zoar United Church of Christ, officiated by Rev. Art Christmas, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 3:00-7:00PM, Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street.
