Tyna (McClure) Wheat, age 57, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 11:04 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Deaconess Hospital. Tyna was born January 25, 1961, in Henderson, KY to the late Robert “RK” and Dorothy (Bellew) McClure. She graduated from Henderson High School in 1979 and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from University of Kentucky.

Tyna was the co-owner of The Diamond Galleria since 2013 and held a deep passion for her work in the jewelry industry. Outside of her work, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Bertram “Bert” M. Wheat; son, Nathan Robert Wheat of Arlington, VA; goddaughter, Samanatha DePalma; close family, Angela and Rob DePalma; and many friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Angie Humphrey officiating. Burial will be Private. Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until service time, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
