James Kenneth Adcox, age 82 of Hardinsburg, KY died Friday, January 4, 2019 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on January 2, 1936, the son of the late Homer and Rhea Jolly Adcox. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Gates Rubber Company.

He enjoyed playing golf, horseback riding and barrell racing, watching westerns and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Delores Fay Adcox, 3 sons Dennie, Mike and Freddie Adcox, 5 brothers Russell, Denver, Wesley, Neal and Homer Adcox, Jr. Kenneth is survived by 2 sons – Hank Adcox of Somerset, KY and Ray Adcox of Clinton, OK 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren 1 brother – Donnie Adcox of Harned, KY 2 sisters – Agnes Nalley of Illinois and Betty Bullard of Hardinsburg, KY Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 12 PM. Burial will be in the Black Lick Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Hosparus.
