Roy C. Drake, age 92 of Garfield, KY died Sunday, 2-24-2019 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Buras, KY on January 8, 1927, the son of the late Pascel and Flora Meador Drake. Roy retired from Phillip Morris and was a member of Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He enjoyed farming, turkey hunting, fishing, beekeeping and riding his 4-wheeler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Ronnie Drake and his siblings Levi, Helen, Christine, Anna Louise, Everee and Chester. He is survived his son Ray Drake (Amber) of Portland, Oregon 2 grandchildren: Scotttie Drake (Mallory) and Carrie Drake 3 great grandchildren: Treyton, Madelyn and Easton Drake Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 308 South Hardin Street Hardinsburg, KY 40143 on Thrusday, 2-28-2019 at 11 AM.

Burial will be in the Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 3:30 – 8 PM and Thursday after 8 AM.
