Tavabel Moore, age 89 of Hardinsburg, KY died Saturday, 2-23-2019 at Sun Rise Manor in Hodgenville, KY. She was born in Axtel, KY on June 4, 1929, the daughter of the late Willie and Lillie Mae Jarboe Clark. She was a member of Westview United Methodist Church and a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star.

Tavabel was a talented seamstress – she made beautiful clothing for several women and children in Breckinridge County. Many young girls dressed their Barbie dolls in outfits made by her. She enjoyed quilting and upholstery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert “Toad” Moore and siblings Billy, Adrian, Busro, Murrell and George Clark, Alice Henning and Marie Butler. Tavabel is survived by 2 sons: Kevin Moore (Marie) of Stafford, VA Kenneth Moore (Kimber) of Deland, FL 6 grandchildren: Krista Bell, Kevin Michael, Brandon, Kevin, Kenny, Jr. and Jennifer 1 great grandson: Max Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, 2-25-2019 at 11 AM with Rev. Joe Nottongham officiating.

Burial will be in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Monday. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Westview United Methodist Church Building Fund.
