SYLVIA Jr., James R., 60, of Station St., passed away at home on Friday, November 2, 2018. Born in Providence, he was the son of Florence M. (Hamel) Sylvia of Johnston and the late James R. Sylvia. Besides his mother, he is survived by a son James R. Sylvia III of Coventry and a daughter Merissa Folcarelli of West Warwick; a sister, Rhonda Gardener of Cranston and three grandchildren, James R. Sylvia IV and Brittney and Jason Beland.

He was a brother of the late Michael Sylvia. Visiting hours will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte. 117), Coventry, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm.

Burial will be private for the Family.
