Mr. James Ray Hairel, age 59 of Fort Payne, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019. He was born July 3, 1959 to the late Marvin Jack & Mary Ramza Hairel. Mr. Hairel attended Delmer Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing with family.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by his daughter, Megan Hairel; significant other, Janice Harcrow; brothers, Ronnie Hairel (Tina), Lonnie Hairel (Tammy), and Joe Redden (Jimmie Sue); sisters, Emily Cooper (Eddie), Birtha Bolt (Bobby), and Mary Ruth Busby (Jerry).
