Obituary for James M. Richardson James M. Richardson, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019. For 62 years he was the loving husband of Constance “Connie” Richardson. James was born in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late James and Georgia Austin Richardson.
He is also survived by his sons, Stephen M. Richardson of New Haven and Robert A. Richardson of West Hartford, his sister Lillian Richardson and his brother Larry McNeely and his wife Marie Gaddy, all of New Haven. James is also survived by several nieces and nephews. James was a U.S. Army veteran, serving at the time of the Korean War.
He was a proud graduate of both Fairfield University and Quinnipiac University. Prior to his retirement, James worked as the Laboratory Director for Community Health Care Program (“CHCP”) in New Haven and then as a medical technologist for Quest Diagnostics. James wanted a private funeral service, however, knowing that James always enjoyed introducing his friends and family to each other, his family will be hosting a gathering to celebrate his life and memory in March of 2019.
