Jane E. (Welton) Anastas, 89, of East Syracuse, passed away February 20, 2019. She was a communicant of St. Matthew’s Church and was employed as an assembler for GE and then retired after 25 years with Inficon. She enjoyed going to the casino and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 2011, her son, Frank in 1990, her brother, Charles and nephew, Charles. She is survived by her daughters, Janice (John) Kane of Massachusetts and Diane (Harvey) Whaley of E. Syracuse; her grandchildren, Bradd Williams, Jim (Lauren) Brilbeck, Kristy (Eric) Brilbeck and Matthew Whaley; her great grandchildren, Ariana, Shaina, Donovan, Milani, Gianna, Julianna, Parker and Charlie; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Tuesday at 8:30am in MATHEWSON-FORANI FUNERAL HOME, INC.

AND 9AM in St. Matthew’s Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 206 Kinne St., E. Syracuse.
