Obituary for Jane Maureen Shannon Saratoga Springs, NY Jane Maureen Shannon, 81, entered eternal life peacefully surrounder by her loving family on March 7, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Troy she was daughter of the late James and Pearl Grogan Shea. Maureen graduated from Samaritan School of Nursing and received her Master of Health Administration from Russell Sage College.

She had dedicated her entire life to the nursing industry first as Operating Room Supervisor at the Cohoes Memorial Hospital and later as Director of Nursing and Nursing Administrator for the County of Albany. She is survived by her devoted husband John (Bill) Shannon, her beloved children Kevin (Diane) Shannon and Erin ( Edward) Reilly. Grandmother of Tara Pelcher, Patrick and Devin Reilly and Ian Shannon.

Sister of John ( Sandra) Shea , James (Gail) Shea and the late Kathleen Pardus. Sister in-law of John Pardus. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses Kelli and Mary from Saratoga Hospice, the staff at Saratoga Hospital and the wonderful care of Dr. John Pezzulo. Funeral services were private interment was in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on March 9, 2018.
