Obituary for Scott Ellis Cohoes, NY Scott Ellis, age 47, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 27th after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. He joins his mother, Lorraine Ellis; his father Louis Ellis; and brother Keith Ellis in heaven. He is survived by his sister Janet Ellis Beaudoin (Bob); two nephews Ryan Beaudoin (Sarah) and James Beaudoin (Crystal) and a niece Cassie Meyer (Joe), as well as six great nieces and nephews.

Scott never let his disability or his illness keep him from living life to the fullest. He enjoyed bowling, basketball, swimming and cookouts and was an avid fan of the Yankees and the Giants. His pure love of life and his infectious laughter touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Scott will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A memorial service visitation will be held at Marra Funeral home in Cohoes from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 on Friday June 1, 2018. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Scott Ellis please visit our Sympathy Store.
