Jeanell Collins White, age 65, of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at her home. Born on November 11, 1953 in Kingsport, TN, Jeanell is a daughter of the late James Curtis and Willa Gibson Collins. She was a homemaker and she loved to clean.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, James Ray White. Jeanell Collins White leaves behind to cherish her memory: The love of her life: Ray C. Whtison; Daughter: Angela White (James) of Johnson City; Step Son: Scotty Whitson (Sallie) of Unicoi; Brother: Lester Collins of Erwin; Sister: Marsella Knowles (Harold) of Carter’s Valley, TN; Grandchildren: Jenny Banks (Michael) of Burnsville, NC; Bobby Whitson (Kristen) of Unicoi Great grandchildren: Tyler Banks and Canaan Whitson; Niece: Crystal Knowles of Carter’s Valley, TN; Many great nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Jeanell Collins White in a Funeral service to be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2019 in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home with Reverend Donald Whitson will officiating.

A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 11:00AM and continue until service time at Valley Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Those attending the graveside service will go in procession to the cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
