Janet Eileen McDougal March 22, 1974 – January 21, 2019 Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card WAMEGO – Janet Eileen McDougal, 44, of Wamego, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019. She was born March 22, 1974 at Onaga, the daughter of Gale and Nadine Chance McDougal. She attended Onaga Grade School and High School.

Janet worked in law enforcement since 1992. She was a dispatcher for several surrounding counties, and for KSU College in Manhattan, and finally for the Wamego Police Department. Growing up, she attended Bible School at Havensville Christian Church.

Survivors include her parents, Gale and Nadine McDougal, Onaga, a sister, Joyce Hart and husband Mike, Wheaton, two nieces, Kimber Bradley and husband Cory, and Shara Ziegler, and her two dogs who were her kids, Lexy and Merea. Cremation is planned. A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26th at the Havensville Christian Church.

Memorials are suggested to the Caring Hearts Humane Society in Wamego, and may be sent in care of the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, P.O. Box 312, Onaga, 66521.
