Janet Clark passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Zerbe Retirement Community. Born on October 28, 1934 in Hackensack, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Janette Ackerman.

Janet joined the Air Force following high school where she met her late husband, Francis J. Clark. They lived in many different places in the country while in the Air Force. They moved to the Lancaster/Berks County area in 1990.

Janet was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in New Holland. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her sister Barbara Gillespie. Surviving are her three children: Linda M. Vreeland, wife of Jim of Bowmansville, Kevin M. Clark, husband of Lisa, of Barnegat, NJ and Glenn P. Clark of Reisterstown, MD.

Also surviving are grandchildren: Sean Clark, Edward and Timothy Vreeland and a sister: Nancy Martin. Memorial Services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave. , Shillington, on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00AM.

The Family will receive friends and relatives from 10:30-11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Janet’s name to: Zerbe Retirement Community, 2499 Zerbe Road, Narvon, PA 17555. Online condolences may be made at www.
