Obituary of Janet Bennink Janet L McCarthy, Myers, Sterling, Bennink , 70 of Jamestown went to be with the Lord October 31, 2018 at UPMC Chautauqua WCA with her family by her side. Janet was born August 19, 1948 in Jamestown. Janet worked at Chautauqua Hardware and Aldo’s restaurant until her retirement.

Janet was born a triplet and one of 8 children. She loved spending time with her family especially her mom, children, and grandchildren. She was a loving, caring soul who taught many life lessons to her children and grandchildren.

Janet was an avid bingo player Janet is survived by children Ronald (Delores) Myers of Jamestown, Thomas Myers Sr. of Jamestown, William (Krystal) Myers of Falconer, Russell Myers of Falconer, Roxanne Welch of Jamestown, her Companion of more than 20 years Dennis Bennett, siblings, John (Lydia) McCarthy, Ginger (Earl) Johnson, Bonnie (John) Dalrymple, James McCarthy (Triplet), Joanne Norman (triplet), Laverne (Lori) Mee, as well as 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Janet is preceded in death by her husband Charles t Sterling, her parents Dorothy Mee and Larverne Mee Sr. and her sister Deanna Boardman There will be no calling hours A graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery Wednesday at 11am. Followed by a celebration of Janet’s life at the Allen Park Men’s Club 1309 Norby Road Jamestown NY 14701.
