Janice Rita Slusher, 63, of Wallins, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018. She was born, October 9, 1954 to the late Lawrence and Snowden Long. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father-in-law Walter Slusher and his wife Lidamae and her sister-in-law Billie L. Tindall.

Surviving are her husband, Marion Slusher of Wallins; sons, James (Jennifer) of Easley, SC and Johnny Skidmore of Wallins; daughter, Annette Baker of SC; sister, Freda (Vernis) Blevins of Coldiron; brother, Ronald (Nina) Long; five grandkids, Amber, Destiny, Aden, Callie, and Blake all of SC; and brother-in-law Bobby (Diane) Slusher. A host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral in the Long Cemetery at Coldiron. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
