Roy C. Scarbrough, 81 of Wallins passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at his home. Roy was born April 23, 1937 in Twila, KY to the late Lonnie and Nancy Arnett Scarbrough. He was retired from the Harlan Co. Road Department and enjoyed 4-wheeling, outdoors and being a backyard mechanic.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Bill Scarbrough, Tye and Ray Cobb; his sister, Jean Wein. He is survived by his sisters, Faye Fox, Nova Jones, and Sue Shepherd, a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends including, Freddie Brigmon, Bob Lee, Bill Lee, Perry Hendrickson, and Howard Saylor. Visitation will be Friday (July 27) from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday (July 28) at the Park Howard Cemetery in Wallins with Rev. Freeman Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Park Howard Cemetery in Wallins.
