Obituary for Jayne Bishop Norvell Jayne Bishop Norvell, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 17, 2018. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Dorothy Moore Bishop and the sister of the late William T. “Buddy” Bishop III. She was a graduate of University High School and Randolph-Macon Woman’s College.

She is a member of Middletown Christian Church in Louisville where she was active with her beloved Frisky Folks, and a previous member at Central Christian Church in Lexington. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader, a horse-racing enthusiast, a fan of UK basketball and enjoyed needlework.

She is survived by her children, Dolly Norvell Mills (Steve) of Louisville and Thomas “Tuck” Norvell Jr. (Jennyfer) of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren Austin and Peyton Mills and Caleb, Georgia and Gabe Norvell. Funeral service will be 1 pm Thursday, September 20 at Middletown Christian Church, preceded by visitation from 11-1. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm at Lexington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Embrace Louisville Fund at Middletown Christian Church, 500 N. Watterson Trail, Louisville KY 40243 or the Ministerial Education Fund at Lexington Theological Seminary, 230 Lexington Green Circle Suite 300, Lexington, KY 40503. Arrangements were entrusted to Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville.
