Obituary for Jean Anderson (Triplett) Jean Anderson, age 70, of Granite Falls, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Caldwell County Hospice, Hudson. She was born August 10, 1947, daughter of the late Chancy Miller Triplett and Levonia Palmer Triplett. She was a devoted member of the Ladies Senior Class of Poovey’s Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Joan McGuire. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 47 years, Steven Anderson of the home; one son, James Anderson (Holly) of Granite Falls; two sisters, Sharon Eller (Vernon) of Ferguson and Dona Thanos (Steve) of Spruce Pine; two brothers-in-law Johnny Anderson (Iva Lee) and Vernon Anderson both of Granite Falls; one sister-in-law Marlene Brown of Sawmills; two grandchildren, Chance and Caroline Anderson. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 10 to 11 AM at Poovey’s Grove Baptist Church.
The funeral service will follow at 11 AM with Rev. Dr. Rick Crouse and Rev. Vernon Eller officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Caldwell County Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645 or Poovey’s Grove Baptist Church, 4889 Poovey’s Grove Church Road, Granite Falls, NC 28630.
