(Peters) Wilkinson, 86 years, formerly of Ridgeview Drive, Allentown, died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall where she had been residing. She was the wife of the late William D. Wilkinson. Born in South Whitehall Township, March 29, 1932, Jean was the daughter of the late Stanley A. and Mabel A. (Fatzinger) Peters.

She was employed as a teller at the Allentown Teachers Credit Union for 12 years before retiring in 1992. Prior to that, she was a teller for the former Hill Financial formerly Red Hill Savings & Loan working in the Emmaus, Dorneyville and Whitehall Branches from 1959 – 1980. Jean was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Stations.

She was a former volunteer at the Blind & Visually Impaired of Lehigh County, Allentown. Survivors: Children, Diane M. Frantz and her husband, Russel of Coplay, Thomas R Baer and his wife, Chris of Stockbridge, GA, Danette D. Roberts and her husband, Kevin of Lehighton, Amy L. Ziegler and her husband, Jesse of Mertztown; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; predeceased by a son, James T. Baer and brothers, Donald L. Peters and Robert S. Peters. Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 am.

Saturday, January 26, 2019 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Dr. James T. Gottwald and the Rev. Philip E. Yerrington officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Saturday in the funeral home. Entombment will follow the service at Grandview Chapel Mausoleum, Allentown.
