Memorial Service will be 10:00am, Monday, January 28 at Lutheran Memorial Church with Inurnment at Riverside Cemetery Jeffrey “Mabes” Charles McDorman was born September 22, 1956 to Raymond and Betty (Englund) McDorman in Watertown, SD. When he was one the family moved to Pierre where he attended Jefferson Elementary School and Pierre High School graduating in 1974.

Jeff was married to the love of his life Dani Livingston for 10 years. Jeff worked as a piano tuner and was a member of various local bands including: Small Prophet, Borderline and Mabes Dog. He was proud to have had his band open for big names such as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band at the State Fair and Merle Haggard.

Jeff enjoyed music, history and helping people. Jeff was an outgoing people person who never met a stranger and was well known throughout the community. He is survived by his parents Raymond and Betty of Pierre; sister Kristi (John) Berheim of Pierre and nephews: Jake Fanger and fiancé Shantel Norman and Justin Berheim; uncle Randy and Kathy Englund; cousins: Brad (Dawn) Englund, Brian Englund, Matt (Allison) Englund, Lori Schafer and Lisa Pinkham and all their families and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and his aunt Judy. Memorials may be directed to the family.
