Marilyn Hagemann March 31, 1939 – February 01, 2019 Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Marilyn Hagemann, 79, of Pierre, died Friday, February 1 at Avera St. Mary’s Hospital. Services will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, February 7 at Isburg Funeral Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Blunt Marilyn was born March 21, 1939 to Eltor and Vernia (Garber) Mattheis.

She was born at Parkston, SD. She graduated from Pierre High School in 1958. On December 22, 1957, she was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Hagemann.

November 3, 1959 daughter, Jackie, was born. She worked for the Veteran’s Department, Game Fish & Parks, and Pierre Junior High. Marilyn and Bob spent most of their life raising quarter horses, cattle and working with the 4-H Program.

Marilyn was a member of the Oahe Riding Club, East Central Riding Club Association, Oahe Drill Team, DAV Women’s Auxiliary, and was a 4-H club leader for 20 years. She enjoyed watching her granddaughters in their sporting events, playing bingo, bowling, knitting, crocheting, and decorating cakes for her granddaughters’ birthdays. She is survived by her daughter Jackie (Shanard) Husted of Ft.

Pierre; granddaughters: Jonilynn (Allen) Fisher of Ft. Pierre, Kylie (Kyle) Stoddard of Ft. Pierre, and Lathie (Jacob) Under Baggage of Rapid City; eight great-grandchildren: Kaysen, Kelby and Kannyn Fisher, Kynlee and Keslyn Stoddard, and Kacie, Grant, and Cooper Under Baggage; sisters: Phyllis Fratzke, Carolyn (Maurice) Trautman, Darlene (Steve) Ulvestad and Sherry (Daryl) Theobald.
