CHARGIN FALLS Jeffrey Charles Nelson, 34 years of age, passed away Thursday January 24, 2019 at University Hospital-Geauga Regional Medical Center in Claridon Township, Ohio. Born in Painesville, Ohio on August 8, 1984, he was the son of Russell C. and Lisa ( Saari ) Nelson. A lifetime resident of the Auburn and Chagrin Falls areas, he had been employed as a master molder at Nelson Aluminum Foundry.

Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball, archery, and was an avid chess player, as well as spending time with his many friends and family. Survivors include his mother Lisa ( George ) Frazier, father Russell Nelson, brothers Adam Nelson and David Nelson, all of Chagrin Falls; his grandmother Emily Saari of Carson City, Nevada, and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Margaret M. Nelson, and his grand-fathers George E. Nelson and Ralph Saari.

Cremation has been held. Family and friends are invited to his memorial visitation on Tuesday January 29, 2019 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44 (S.

of Rt. 422) Mantua, Ohio 44255. Final resting place will be at Shadyside Cemetery, Auburn Township, Ohio.
