Jeffrey Lee Waters, age 60, of Lapeer, formerly of Millington, died Friday, March 15, 2019. He was born November 29, 1958 in Flint, to John and Arlene (Motter) Waters. Jeff married Donielle Bradford in 1996, at their home in Lapeer.

He took great pride in his work as the owner of Unique Landscaping here in Lapeer. Mr. Waters truly enjoyed working outdoors; he always had a wonderful vegetable garden, flower gardens and a well-kept lawn. As a young man he often farmed with his father and he always loved his John Deere tractors.

Mr. Water dearly loved his family. Jeffrey is survived by his wife: Donielle Waters of Lapeer; father: John Waters of Metamora; children: Jason (Linda) Waters of Burton, Jody Waters of Terre Haute, Indiana, Autumn Waters of Lapeer, Emily Waters of Davison and Jamie Madsen of Burton; grandchildren: Brandon, Hailey, Brooklyn, Brantlee, Raylee, Dylan, Piper and Lincoln; siblings: John (Deb) Waters of Flint, Joe Waters of Millington, Jeri Wilson of Hale, Jenelle Sutton of Hale, Paul Waters of Illinois and Connie Waters of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother: Arlene Waters; and sister: Jeanne “Nikki” Sabo.

A celebration of Jeff’s life will take place at a later date, probably at their home on Davison Road. Cremation has been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. Memorial contributions are requested to the family, checks payable to Donielle Waters.
