Jennie Beatrice Smith Mobley, 85, of Parkview Ct, SW, Concord, NC, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, at her residence. She was born, May 6, 1933 in Cabarrus County to the late James Colson, Sr. and the late Julia Mae Smith. Jennie was educated in the Cabarrus County School System and was a graduate of Logan High School Class of 1951.

She was formerly employed with US Postal Service in New York. Services will be held Wednesday, September 19, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 5:00 – 5:30 PM with funeral services at 5:30PM.

Burial will be at Rutherford Memorial Cemetery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Mobley. Those left to cherish fond memories include one sister, Mildred Mackroy of West Babylon, NY; a nephew, James Colson of Wheatley Heights, NY, a sister in-law, Margaret Smith of Rowland, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
