Jennie’s Obituary Boonville – Jennie H. Platt, 94, of Kortenaer Village passed away on February 22, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica , surrounded by her family. She was born in West Leyden, NY on April 27, 1924 a daughter of Kostanty and Anna Sheroski Lisowski. Jennie received her education in a one-room school house and graduated from West Leyden High School.

She married Lyle H. Platt and he died in 1989. Jennie was employed at Ethan Allen Furniture in Boonville, where she worked in the sanding department, retiring after 33 years. For several years she was a foster grandparent-helper at the Adirondack Elementary School.

She was a member of Port Leyden Senior Citizens and attended the Boonville Baptist Church for many years. Surviving are her children, Gerald Platt, New Smyrna, FLA. , Lester Platt, Boonville, Lyle and Lee Ann Platt, Boonville, Deborah Clark, Boonville, Connie and Bob Still, Ava, Judy Platt, Florida and Patty and Adrian Grenier, Boonville; daughter-in-law, Debbie Platt, Florida; 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, James Platt, three brothers, Stephen, Joseph and Stanley Lisowski and four sisters, Phyllis Sasenbury, Lotti and Stella Backer and Eva Lisowski. At Jennie’s request there will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are by Mills Funeral Home, Boonville.
