Mrs. Jennie Miller, age 75, of Old Fort, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace center in Asheville, NC. Jennie was born in Augusta, GA on August 18, 1942 to the late Walter and Mary Davenport. Jennie had a passion for teaching, and was loved greatly by anyone who knew her.

She will be remembered for the wonderful and loving mother and wife that she was. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 57 years, Carroll Miller; a daughter Lisa Miller of Athens, GA; and son Carroll K. Miller II of Pompano Beach, FL. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the First United Methodist Church of Marion, and will be announced once finalized.

Flowers are appreciated, but the family asks that memorial donations be made to National Arthritis Foundation at 1355 Peachtree St NE, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309, or to First united Methodist Church of Marion at 176 Roberts St, Marion, NC 28752.
