Obituary for Jerome F. Hoheisel Jerome F Hoheisel, 92, of Worthington, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018. Jerry was born in Vulcan, MI on March 16, 1926. He graduated Norway HS and served in the US Army Air Corp.
Upon completion of his service, he graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in EE. He was married to the Love of His Life, Norma M. (Danaher) Hoheisel on September 19, 1953 and they were married for 65 wonderful years. Jerry loved to vacation with family in Michigan, could be found swimming laps at the Worthington pool, was a loyal U of M fan living in the heart of Buckeye country, loved watching basketball and baseball, and just loved telling a story and spending time with family and friends.
He worked as a Sales Engineer and Mgr for the Allen-Bradley Co and for EMCORP in Columbus, OH. He is survived by his wife, Norma and his 4 children- Annette (Walter) Wilowatyj, Allan (Lynda) Hoheisel, Andy (Jo Ellen) Hoheisel, and Eric (Jennifer) Hoheisel; ten grandchildren Elizabeth, Ann Marie, Catherine, Gabriel, Christopher, Kevin, Carolyn, Colleen, Will, and Luke; and five great grandchildren Michael, Sophie, Mackenzie, Connor and Evan; his sister Marge (Ralph) Meiner and his brother Robert (Mary) Hoheisel. He was preceded in death by his sister Marlea (Andy) Bray.
Calling hours will be held at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, Ohio, on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 4 pm to 6 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 5750 N. High St., Worthington, Ohio on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10 am with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Catholic Church or to Wesley Glen Retirement Community, 5155 N. High St., Worthington, Ohio 43214.
