Jerry L. Littlejohn, 73, of Olney, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. Jerry was born on June 1, 1945 in Crawford Co., IL, the son of Forest and Fern (Midget) Littlejohn. He married Mary Ellen (McLain) on September 19, 1999 and she preceded him in death on October 6, 2012.

Jerry retired from Marathon Refinery in 1999 after nearly 30 years. He lived most of his life in the Oblong area. Jerry moved to Olney after retiring.

He enjoyed and was a master at woodworking and carpentry. Jerry was a proud grandfather and took pleasure in attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Jerry is survived by his son, Rick (Michele) Littlejohn of Oblong, IL; Daughter, Lisa (Roger) McKinley of Stoy, IL; Daughter, Lezlee (Shannon) Hough of Olney, IL; Significant Other, Jan Kuhl of Olney, IL; Grandchildren, Branden (Kylie) Littlejohn, Cory Littlejohn, Arron McKinley, and Cameron and Holden Hough; Great grandchildren, Harper and Bennett Littlejohn; 3 Step-Grandchildren, and 13 Step-Great grandchildren; Brothers, Myrl Littlejohn and Larry (Mary Ann) Littlejohn; Sisters, Nina Rodrick, Beulah Inboden, Evea (Everett) Miller, and Dale Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers-in-law, Dick Rodrick and Fred Inboden, and sister-in-law, Donna Littlejohn. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with burial following in Crest Haven Cemetery.
