Elyria – Jerry McGrady, 44, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at his home in Elyria, OH after a long illness. He was born in Huntington, WV on April 2, 1974, and he was a longtime resident of Lorain County (except for that little blip when he resided in Findley). He enjoyed HAM radio, scary movies, all kinds of music, and spending his free time with his daughter and extended family.

Jerry graduated from First Baptist Christian School of Elyria, Class of 1992. Jerry was a computer technician at NASA for eight years. He is survived by his daughter, Bethany McGrady of Elyria, OH; parents, Paul and Barb McGrady of Sheffield, OH; sister, Angela (Todd) McFarland of Sheffield Lake, OH; brother, Paul (Lisa) McGrady Jr. of Bourbonnais, IL; and a mighty host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews spanning the globe from London to Charlotte to Chicagoland to Lorain County.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ray and Beulah Maxey; paternal grandparents, Paul M. and Mary McGrady; and nephew, Donald J. Love III. The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961, on Thursday, September 13, 2018, from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 12:00 PM. The family’s Pastor, Rev.
