Obituary for Jerry N. Purcell Jerry Nelson Purcell, age 65, of Powder Springs passed away April 14, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, April 17 at Kennesaw Memorial Park, Marietta. Jerry was born in Atlanta and lived most of his life in Cobb County.

He was a 1970 graduate of McEachern High School and served in the National Guard. Jerry owned and operated Purcell Tractor in Powder Springs. He enjoyed boating, hot rods, motorcycles but most of all loved spending time with his family.

Jerry is preceded in death by his loving wife, Kay Purcell; his parents: S.S. and Janie Purcell and brother, Jimmy Purcell. He is survived by his daughters: Tiffany (Brian) Rogers and Ashley Purcell; grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Dylan Rogers all of Powder Springs; nephew, Rodney (Dawn) Purcell of Tyrone and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 pm until 8 pm at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Macland Chapel, Powder Springs.
