Jess W. “Pat” Gill, 72, of Wellsville, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born, October 14, 1945, in East Liverpool, he is a son of the late Jess and Elizabeth Sayre Gill. He was also preceded in death by his son, Patrick Shane Gill and by his brothers, Paul, James, John and Ray Gill and by his sisters, Betty Cline, and Ruby Golden.

Pat was a 1963 graduate of Chester High School and a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Vietnam War. He leaves behind his sisters, Jane Cowey Creasey and her husband John of Wellsville and Peggy Ivey and her husband Curtis of Ohatchee AL. and by his grandchildren, Patrick Shane Gill II and Nicholas Cody Checkler; he also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved him very much.

Pastor Tom Adkins will celebrate Pat’s life on Monday, September 10, 2018, at 6:00 PM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 121-VFW Post 6450 Honor Guard. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 PM- until the time of the services.
