Mary Lou Watson, 77, of East Liverpool, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018, at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born, September 7, 1941, in Canonsburg, PA. she is a daughter of the late Herbert and Mary Richards Melone.

Mary Lou is a 1959 graduate of East Liverpool High School and she received her Associate degree in business from the Ohio Valley Business College. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church in East Liverpool. Mary Lou worked for many years in the Billing Department at the East Liverpool City Hospital.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Scott Watson and his wife Margaret of East Liverpool; brother, Herbert Melone of East Liverpool; sisters, Edith Straffon and her husband Gerald of Wellsville, Cheryl McKenzie and her husband Lester of Cookeville, TN. , Diana Wright of Reseda, CA. ; and by her grandchildren, Tyler Chevront, Dilan and Caleb Watson.

Pastor Steve Knisely will celebrate Mary Lou’s life on Monday, October 22, 2018, at the Arner Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM. A memorial visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM.
