Jesse Thomas Neeley, Sr. 74, of Covert, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. He was born November 9, 1943 to Thomas and Sylvia (Laws) Neeley in Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorlene Neeley who passed in 2017 and 17 brothers and sisters.

Jesse is survived by his children – Jesse Neeley, Jr. and Joyce (Donald) Burse, siblings – Jane Kellum of Lincoln Park, Illinois and Ada Smith of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and granddaughter – Elizabeth Davis-Burse. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Duane Jones officiating.
