Jimmy’s Obituary Jimmy A. Thompson, 81, of Vivian, LA passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Jerry Means.

Mr. Thompson was born August 10, 1937 in Bloomburg, TX, and lived in Vivian since 1982 after moving from Ida. He worked as a pipe liner, and later in life in the oil field as an equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Thompson and Karma Jackson Thompson, his brother Willie Thompson and his sister Linda Wynn.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Frances Thompson of Vivian, LA, his 4 step children, Judy Thomas and husband Dennis, Rhonda Oglee and husband Larry, Robin Martin, and Bobby Stevens Jr., his brother Gerald Thompson and wife Jimmie, his special step grandchildren; Adam Thomas and wife Tiffany, Jessica Byrd and husband Robert, Jennifer Litton, Heather Dauphin, Kristen Martin, Kristopher Martin, Emily Martin, Frances Martin and numerous other step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
