Jimmy Brad Zimmerman August 07, 1959 – December 15, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Jimmy Brad Zimmerman, age 59, of Sweetwater passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Bertram, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 21, 2018 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Kirk Maberry officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

A rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday at McCoy Chapel of Memories recited by Johnny Cave. Brad was born August 7, 1959 in Ft. Worth, Texas.

He moved to Sweetwater in 1976, his junior year, from Stephenville and graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1977. Brad worked at U.S.G. for some 25 years as a mechanic and store room clerk. He was involved with the Nolan County Junior Livestock Show with his children for many years and was an avid gun collector.

Brad adored his children and grandchildren and loved to meet people as he never met a stranger. He is survived by his children; Brandon Ray Zimmerman and wife Veronica of Grand Prairie, Jimmy Brad Zimmerman II and fiancée Stephanie Jenkins of Sweetwater, Eric Anthony Valenzuela and wife Sarah of Ft. Worth, Kelsey Lynn Zimmerman and fiancé Tyson Engel of Sweetwater, Kimberly Louise Buckner and fiancé Aaron Pena of Sweetwater and Kristina Ann Tischmacher and husband Daniel of Euless, Texas.

His grandchildren are; Brett, Brandon Jr., Aaron, Karina, Devin, Jarrett, Bradlynn, Lane, Elliott, Kimber, Briella, Trinity and Gage, four sisters and his fiancée Ada Connely of Tow, Texas. Brad is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Betty Jo Henson and great grandparents Zella Mae and Virgil Yoakum. Pallbearers will be Norman Ashford, Brent Howard, Charles McElroy, Gary Boyd, Glen Ellison and David Watson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Zimmerman, Jr., Brett Buckner, Aaron Palma and Johnny Mac Cunnings.
