Obituary Joan Cummings Johnson January 9, 1937 – February 18, 2019 Joan Cummins Johnson was born on January 9, 1937 in Lakeview, Texas to Lucile Williams Stubblefield. Joan died in San Antonio, Texas on February 18, 2019 at the young age of 82 years old. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Merle Johnson; daughter, Pam McLelland and her husband Michael McLelland of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas; son, Craig Johnson and Linda of North Zulch, TX.

; grandchildren, Ashlea Long and husband Chad Long; Micha Elsner and husband Lee Elsner; Samantha McLelland; Jessica Baker and husband Kyle Baker; and Dustin Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Berkleigh and Addison Elsner, Hadley Baker, and Dawson Johnson. Joan was a loving, consistent, and steadfast daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Odessa Rotary Club at odessarotaryclub.org.
