Obituary for Joan D. Hartman Joan D. (LaRose) Hartman, 69, of Anderson, passed away on April 15, 2018, at the St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on June 25, 1948 in Rochester, Pennsylvania and resided most of her life in Anderson. Joan graduated from Rochester High School in 1966.

She was a x-ray technician for Med One in Anderson. She was a member of the Pendleton Baptist Church, where she played the organ. In her early years, she and her husband were very involved with their children’s activities.

Joan is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Tom Hartman; son, Jeffrey Hartman; daughter, Margaret Hartman; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Bea (Jack) Retzer and Emily (Joe) Spezeski. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Beulah LaRose; son, John Hartman; and sister, Mary Jane Kugel.

A memorial service will be held on April 28, 2018, 11:00 am, at the Pendleton Baptist Church, 207 Old State Road 132 W., Pendleton, IN 46064. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. www.
