EDGERTON— Joan M. Demrow, age 78, of Edgerton, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at Rock Haven. She was born in Stoughton on Aug.

21, 1940 the daughter of Alfred and Selma (Lunde) Anderson and was a 1958 graduate of Edgerton High School. Joan married Harold F. “Buster” Demrow on April 9, 1958 at Central Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1990.

She was a CNA for over 30 years at the Edgerton Hospital before retiring in 2010. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and an… Read More » active member of Fulton 4-H. Joan enjoyed watching the kids and grandkids show at the fair and their sporting events.

Survivors include her 10 children: Roger “Hamhock” (Kathy) Demrow of Orfordville, Cindy (Ken Jr.) Kirby of Edgerton, Kenneth “Woolite” (Jody) Demrow of Evansville, Gary “Stickson” (Lisa) Demrow, Dean “Slufoot” (Judy Furan) Demrow, Connie (John) Donstad, Brian “Scrawny” (Shannon) Demrow, Cheryl (Tim) Krausse, Billy “Brother Bill” (Tina) Demrow, and Cathy Jo “Tykie” (Greg Knudsen) Kruckenberg all of Edgerton; 27 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; her twin sister, Jean (Phil) Reilly of Edgerton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Kyla Kruckenberg; and 6 siblings: AnnaMae Teubert, Bernice Olson, Ruth Anderson, Robert, Arnold and LeRoy Anderson. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Oct.

1, 2018, at ST. JOHN EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 207 E. High St. Edgerton. Rev Carl Seeger will officiate and burial will follow in Fulton Cemetery.

Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 315 Lord St. (Hwy 51) Edgerton and again on Monday at St. John Lutheran Church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
