Obituary for Joann Justus Joann (Below) Justus, 78, of Evansville, passed away, Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. She was born December 5, 1939, in Evansville, IN to the late Charles and Mildred Hornby. Joann worked as a cashier for Casino Aztar for over 15 years.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting and scrapbooking. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Joann is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Ronald) Emory of Richland, IN; son, Charles (Debra) Justus of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Amanda (Michael) Gudorf, Andrew Emory, Brandon (Sophie) Justus, Brittany Norton, Lexie Justus, Dawn (Joshua) Hatfield, Dylan (Kalynn) Cleveland and Daniel Bittner; 15 great-grandchildren.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mildred Hornby. Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 North First Avenue. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel with Rev.
