Obituary for Joe A. Canedo Joe A. Canedo born on May 31, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas entered into rest on April 17, 2018 at the age of 89 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Augustina R. Canedo and is survived by his children, Sylvia R. Valdez and husband Rudy, Irma Canedo Contreras and husband Robert, Jo Ann Canedo Canales, John Joseph Canedo and wife Irene, Jackie Angela Arredondo and husband Edward; sister, Alice Cabrera; 14 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Alamo Funeral Chapels with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
