John A Hall, April 02, 1961 — February 20, 2019

Beloved husband, father and brother passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Age 57 years. The son of the late John F. and Marilyn (Sels) Hall, John was born April 2, 1961 in Billings, Montana.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. John married Janis Emmenecker on May 18, 1985. She survives him.

John was an accountant in Saginaw for many years. He was a member of St. Dominic Parish and the Michigan State Alumni Association. He enjoyed golfing, spending time at the family cottage on Higgins Lake and was a diehard Michigan State fan.

Most of all, John loved spending time with family and his Sig Ep friends. He will be remembered for his love of traveling with Janis to their annual MSU Football away game. Surviving besides his wife Janis are daughters, Megan Hall, Indianapolis, Indiana; Emily Hall, East Lansing; a sister, Pamela Hall, Westland; a brother, Douglas and Ellen Hall, Lebanon, New Jersey; his beloved dog, Cooper; John’s mother-in-law, Patricia Emmenecker; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Michael Emmenecker and Joann Cannata; Daniel and Rebecca Emmenecker; Stephen and Jodi Emmenecker; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Stephen and Theresa Larsen.

John was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Thomas Emmenecker. Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at St. Dominic Parish-St. Stephen Catholic Church, 2711 Mackinaw in Saginaw. Rev.

Ryan Riley will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. , (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Stephen Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
