Obituary for John “Dave” Harrison John “Dave” Harrison, 75, of Summerville, husband of Geraldine Harrison, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at his residence. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC 29405. Flowers will be accepted. Dave was born on September 3, 1943 in Fort Lewis, Washington, son of the late John and Lula Mae Harrison.

He was a graduate from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. He loved all sports. Dave was an avid golfer who enjoyed singing, listening to music, and going on walks.

Most of all he loved sharing his faith in Jesus Christ with others. Survivors including his wife Geri of 15 years are: three sons: Joel Harrison of Atlanta, GA, Brian Lanier, Sr. (Angela) of Charleston, SC and William Taft Lanier, Jr. (Becky) of Summerville; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers: Richard Harrison of Summerville and Robert “Jack” Harrison (Peggy) of Maryland; and one sister: Jan Harrison Stanford of Missouri. He was predeceased by one son: David “Brad” Lanier.
