Obituary for John David Manning Gaffney — Mr. John David Manning, 29, of 524 Burnt Gin Road, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gastonia, he was the son of Linda Biggs Wheeler and husband, Drew, and the late John Manning. John David previously worked as a chef and loved games and music.

In addition to his mother and step-father, Mr. Manning is survived by two sisters, Crystal Pennington and Jessica Manning; a step-sister, Pamela Rhinehart; two step-brothers, Bobby Wease and Dameon Wheeler; a niece, Carson Wofford; and three nephews, Ethan White and Mason and Aiden Pennington. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17th, 2018, from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at Gordon Mortuary. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM in the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel.
