Bost, 64, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. John was born in Irvington and lived in Rahway and in Colonia for the past 22 years, He was an Auditor for Trenton DMV for 33 years retiring in 2018. John was a member of the Rahway Elks Lodge #1075 and a member of the Ashbrook Gold Club He was an avid NY Mets and NY Jets fan who loved to do crossword puzzles and was very quick with a joke.

He lived life through an angel’s eyes, but most of all he lived for his grandchildren and loved being called Pop-Pop. John was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and will be dearly missed by all. John is survived by his 2 daughters: Noelle and Kaitlyn, 2 sons: Austin and Richie, his parents Charles and Madelyn Bost, his ex-wife Sharon Bost, 2 brothers: Joseph Bost and his wife Gina, and Jeffrey Bost, a sister: Judy Brougham and her husband Thomas and an Aunt, Marie Colavito and her son Don.

He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Nevaeha, Anthony, Aviana and Aura. He is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews: Jordyn, Jeffrey Jr., Nicole and Jason. A Memorial Services will take place on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 7pm the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, 275 West Milton Avenue, Rahway, NJ.

07065. Family will greet guest from 3-8 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital on their website www.
