Mr. John Edward Hanner, age 67 of Franklin, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 6:23 AM at his residence. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 with burial to follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens in Simpson Co., KY. John was born December 13, 1951 in Franklin, KY to the late Willie Leo Hanner and the late Leavia Beattress Graves Hanner.

He was the husband of the late Robbie Bayles Hanner. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers Howard Lee Hanner, Haskel Dean Hanner and James Wendall Hanner and 2 sisters Kathryn Corbin and Marie Owens. He is survived by his children Jeremy Hanner (Melody) of Springfield, TN.

Moore (Jonathan) of Orlinda, TN. , 3 grandchildren Jordan Hanner, Jaycee and Jathan Moore, 3 brothers Charlie Hanner of Orlinda, TN, David Hanner and Larry Hanner both of Franklin, KY, 3 sisters Brenda Melton of Franklin, KY, Bonnie Bigbee of Portland, TN and Sharon Vaughn of Orlinda, TN. John worked at Berry Manufacturing.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made www.
